Iced-grapfruit drink with Champagne Nowack Brute Rosé

1- Boil the water in a saucepan, add the sugar, boil again and then cook slowy

     for 3 min. Let this syrup cooling down.

2- Squeeze the grapefruits and pecolate the juice through a fine strainer

     in order ti clear it. Pour the juice in a bowl and add the sweet syrup.

3- Add the Champagne Nowack Brut Rosé.

4- Freeze this mix in the icing machine for 25-30 min.

     If you do not have an icing machine, put the mix in a plastic bowl in the

     freezer for 3 hours.

     Cool champagne's flutes in the frezzer for 10 min.

5- Pour 2 tablespoons of the iced-grapefuit drink

     +1 tablespoon of Champagne Nowack Brut Rosé.

6- Serve immediately as a frozen dessert as a "trou champenois.

 

 

Champagne is also considered a sign of good luck by some who like to spray it around at celebrations, others like to wet the temple or back of the ear, considered erogenous zones,

with a finger dipped in Champagne.

In the same vein, during the Belle Epoque, lovers would drink it from glasses interwining their arms to bring good luck.

In Great Brintain, it is considered lucky to make a slit in the champagne cork and stick a lucky coin in it and as such valuing the moment.

But the most common tradition associated with champagne, is without a doubt, the toast, in former times called the "good health".
